Nariño needs a more precise characterization of this pathology, reproducible stratification, and quantification of the different patterns to build evidence that supports therapeutic decisions through the development of support networks

Teleaudit project

Automatic audit system for the esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedure

Construction and development of a set of artificial intelligence algorithms that perform an automatic audit of the quality of the endoscopic procedure, by verifying the exploration protocol - K. Yao systematic endoscopy.

General Objective

To improve the quality of Endoscopy procedures, by verifying the systematic exploration protocol with an automatic audit program of the endoscopic procedure, which supports early detection of gastric cancer in the Colombian South-Western regions.

Telepathology project

Academic network of computational pathology for research and innovation in cancer and gastric premalignant lesions

Project that structures an academic network of computational pathology that integrates specialists with different levels of expertise in the assessment of biological material in different stages of the disease that can be detected and quantified to establish correlations with clinical variables such as prognosis or the possibility of recurrence.

General Objective

To reduce diagnostic times and objectively stage microscopic samples from the stomach, through the implementation of artificial intelligence methods and the construction of a prototype telepathology computer platform in the Nariño Department.
